Beats officially unveils the Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds, marking a significant upgrade from the original model after six years. The new earbuds feature heart rate sensors, active noise cancellation, longer battery life, and wireless charging, setting them apart in the market. Priced at $249.99 in the US and UK, and $399.95 in Australia, the Powerbeats Pro 2 come in four colors. With a sleeker design, Apple’s H2 chip, and innovative technology like Spatial Audio with headtracking, these earbuds offer an immersive audio experience. A standout feature is the inclusion of heart-rate sensors in each ear, a first for both Beats and Apple, aimed at athletes.
