Amazon’s Alexa has introduced a new bedtime story skill called Tumbles and Stripes, designed to help kids fall asleep. Written by TV presenter Vogue Williams and with input from sleep expert Professor Helen Ball, this science-backed story follows a mother and her tiger cubs through their bedtime routine. It features soothing elements like repeated phrases and a gradual decrease in volume to help children relax. Parents can incorporate this story into a full bedtime Alexa Routine, including dimming smart lights, to aid in putting their children to sleep. While some may find using Alexa for bedtime stories a bit creepy, it offers a convenient alternative for busy parents struggling with nightly routines. Amazon conducted a survey revealing that many adults face challenges putting their children to bed regularly, making this new feature a helpful tool for families.
