Garmin has unveiled its latest creation, the tactix 8 smartwatch, which is touted as their most robust offering yet. Positioned as the pinnacle of Garmin’s lineup, the tactix 8 combines fitness features with military-inspired functionalities, such as the new Applied Ballistics Solver, catering to the needs of tactical users. This military-grade smartwatch boasts advanced GPS capabilities, a 1.4-inch AMOLED display, and a titanium build, all rigorously tested for durability.

Designed for the serious shooter, the tactix 8 features a preloaded Applied Ballistics solver for accurate long-range shooting solutions, making it a specialized device not meant for casual use. Priced at $1,299.99 for the 47mm version and $1,399 for the 51mm model, with a solar option available at the same price, the tactix 8 is targeted towards military professionals and enthusiasts seeking top-of-the-line features. For an enhanced shooting experience, there is a $1,599 solar variant with the Applied Ballistics Elite Solver. The tactix 8 will be available for order starting February 21st.
