Kordsa, a leading technology and impact center, has recently opened its fifth center within the campus of Kocaeli University. The center aims to illuminate the work of young students and academics in material technologies, reaching 1,500 students in the first year through both online and face-to-face training. During the opening ceremony, key figures like Prof. Dr. Nuh Zafer Cantürk, the Rector of Kocaeli University, and Burak Orhun, the Chief of Material Technologies Group at Sabancı Holding, expressed their pride and highlighted the importance of sustainability and innovation in material technologies for a better future. The CEO of Kordsa, İbrahim Özgür Yıldırım, emphasized the significance of sustainable material technologies and shared Kordsa’s vision to empower youth with innovative solutions. The goal of Kordsa’s Technology and Impact Center is to reach 1,500 young individuals by 2025, fostering a new generation of leaders and innovators dedicated to making a positive impact on society.
