Hollyland has introduced the new Lark M2S wireless mic as a competitor to DJI and Rode. Priced at around $139 / £130 for a twin mic/receiver kit, the M2S stands out with its logo-free design and lightweight build at just 7g. In an era flooded with wireless mic options, the Lark M2S distinguishes itself by being discreet and practically invisible when worn on clothing.

Despite its small size, the Lark M2S by Hollyland offers impressive features such as 24-bit audio quality, environmental noise cancellation, a high signal-to-noise ratio, and a maximum Sound Pressure Level. With up to 9 hours of record time per mic and a transmission range of up to 300m, this wireless mic system competes strongly with the likes of DJI and Rode.

The kit includes two transmitters, two receivers (suitable for smartphones and cameras), and a charging case, providing a comprehensive solution for content creators. Hollyland’s Lark M2S combines the best features of DJI Mic Mini and Rode Wireless Micro, offering versatility and high performance in one package. Stay tuned for a detailed review to assess the audio quality. Pre-orders are now available for the Lark M2S.
