Developer NetEase Games is set to introduce new heroes to Marvel Rivals on a regular basis, approximately every six weeks. Game director Guangyun Chen shared in an interview with Metro that the game will see fresh seasonal stories, new maps, and additional heroes with each new season split into two halves. The aim is to continuously enhance the player experience and maintain excitement within the community. Since its launch as a free-to-play title, Marvel Rivals has expanded its roster of characters from 33 to 35, with more additions expected in the following season. Speculation is rife over the potential introduction of popular Marvel characters like Blade, Captain Marvel, Deadpool, and Doctor Doom. Marvel Rivals is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
