The latest update for Tekken 8, Version 1.11, has been released, serving as the final update before Season 2 begins in Spring 2025. The update primarily focuses on changes to the newest DLC character, Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy 16, aiming to balance and adjust certain overpowering moves for better gameplay experience. While some moves have been made slightly more unsafe, this adjustment can encourage Clive mains to explore more of his move set, leading to diverse playstyles.

Furthermore, the update brings quality-of-life enhancements, such as the ability for players to rematch infinitely in non-ranked matches and Tekken Ball, without being forced back to standby after a set number of rounds. Additionally, a ‘Shared’ customization feature has been introduced, allowing for 20 more customizations shared across characters, addressing the limitation of customization slots. These updates provide a more enjoyable and versatile gaming experience for Tekken 8 players.
