A data breach at Avery Products Corporation has been discovered, with hackers stealing payment and personal information from thousands of customers over a six-month period. The breach involved the installation of a credit card skimmer on Avery’s website, potentially compromising sensitive details such as credit card information, names, addresses, and more. While no evidence of misuse was initially found, recent reports suggest fraudulent activities may have occurred. Avery is now offering free credit monitoring and identity theft protection services to the affected individuals which includes 61,193 people. This incident serves as a reminder of the ongoing cybersecurity threats faced by individuals and companies alike.
