Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is currently looking into a potential data breach following claims made by an individual known as IntelBroker. On January 16, IntelBroker, a notorious figure with a history of cyberattacks on various companies, announced on BreachForums that they were offering for sale a new archive allegedly containing sensitive information about HPE. The compromised data reportedly includes source code from private GitHub repositories, Docker builds, SAP Hybris, and Certificates, along with product source code for Zerto and iLO, user data, and access to various platforms such as APIs and GitHub.

In response to these claims, HPE stated that they have taken immediate action by rotating credentials, initiating an investigation to verify the allegations. Company spokesperson Clare Loxley reassured that, as of now, there has been no operational impact on their business or any evidence suggesting customer information has been compromised.

IntelBroker, purportedly a Serbian cybercriminal active since October 2022, has been linked to previous cyberattacks on companies like Acuity, Pandabuy, and Europol. The situation continues to be monitored closely by cybersecurity experts. References: BleepingComputer.
