Apple is ramping up production of its new M5 chipset, expected to be released later this year or in early 2026. The chipset will use the TSMC 3nm process, offering improved power efficiency. Apple is also rumored to be working on the M4 Ultra chip, set to outperform the current M4 Max. Reports suggest that the M5 base model is in focus during production, with premium models like the M5 Pro and M5 Max to follow. The upcoming M5 chipset could bring a big redesign for the M6 MacBook Pro, potentially featuring an OLED screen.
