European businesses are increasingly embracing the use of AI agents, with 96% having already implemented or planning to implement such technology by 2026. These AI agents, which are partially autonomous tools capable of performing tasks and interacting with users, are seen as essential for improving efficiency in the face of a projected 18% increase in IT workloads between 2024 and 2025. IT leaders are particularly optimistic about the potential of AI to boost productivity, with 98% of AI agent users expressing confidence in the benefits of the technology. However, challenges such as data integration and the existence of data silos remain significant hurdles for businesses looking to fully harness the power of AI agents. The key to success lies in establishing a solid data foundation that is AI agent-ready.
