The most recent Alan Wake 2 patch has been released, introducing new features specifically for players on PS5 Pro. The update brings the game to version 1.200.007 on PlayStation 5, 1.2.7 on PC, or 1.20.7 on Xbox. Among the additions is a new ‘Balanced’ graphics setting designed for compatible 120Hz refresh rate displays, offering a mix of Quality mode settings with Performance mode resolution targeting 40fps. This enhancement, similar to other games like Horizon Forbidden West, enhances gameplay on PS5 Pro. The update also includes tweaks to raytracing settings on Quality and Balanced mode, along with a toggle to enable/disable PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), providing more flexibility to players concerned about AI upscaling visual artifacts. Additionally, the patch addresses specific bugs in the game, such as fixed collectables and video audio issues. These updates aim to enhance the overall gaming experience for Alan Wake 2 players on PS5 Pro.
