ASRock has listed the upcoming Ryzen 9 X3D CPUs on its website, suggesting an imminent release of the Ryzen 9950X3D and 9900X3D chips for AM5 motherboards. This move hints at a potential launch of these processors in the near future. Other motherboard manufacturers have not yet updated their supported CPU lists, making ASRock’s action stand out.

Rumors suggested a late January release for the new X3D chips, but with the end of the month nearing, a February launch seems more likely. The Ryzen 9950X3D and 9900X3D could provide a good alternative to the existing Ryzen 9800X3D, catering to gamers and heavy users alike. Concerns remain about the potential pricing strategy AMD might adopt for these new processors.

The Ryzen 9 X3D models are expected to offer similar gaming performance to the 9800X3D but excel in non-gaming scenarios. Despite being niche products, they are anticipated to be well-received, especially given Intel’s recent supply challenges with its Arrow Lake CPUs. The launch of the Ryzen 9950X3D and 9900X3D is eagerly awaited by tech enthusiasts.
