Apple is reportedly gearing up to introduce a new iCloud feature called Confetti, aimed at simplifying the process of sending and managing invitations. The feature, described as an iCloud-based events and invite service by Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, is set to offer a fresh approach to organizing gatherings and meetings. While the exact launch date is uncertain, Gurman hints that it could be unveiled as early as this week.

However, amidst the anticipation for Confetti, concerns remain about Apple’s limited free iCloud storage of 5GB, especially when compared to competitors like Google Drive and Samsung Cloud, which offer triple the amount for free. With the increasing storage requirements due to advanced photography capabilities of iPhones, the necessity for more generous free storage options from Apple is highlighted. The potential choice between the new Confetti feature and a more accommodating free storage allocation poses a crucial decision for iPhone users.
