Ubisoft recently announced that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will include over 700 cinematics, a feature aimed at enhancing players’ connection with the game’s protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke. Realization director David Nibbelin emphasized the importance of these cinematics, stating that they are not just for storytelling but to evoke emotional responses and deeper understanding of the characters. The game will offer two distinct perspectives of Japan through the eyes of Naoe and Yasuke, showcasing their unique experiences and personal narratives. Players can look forward to exploring the protagonists’ stories, relationships, and challenges within the rich backdrop of Japanese history and tradition. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now scheduled for release on March 20 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
