A free trial for the latest installment of the popular first-person shooter game franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, has just been announced by Activision. The trial period is scheduled to run from February 6 to February 10, offering players the opportunity to explore new multiplayer modes and zombie maps within the game.

During the free trial, players will have access to various multiplayer modes such as Overdrive, where stars are earned with each elimination, unlocking powerful buffs. Additionally, new maps introduced in Season 2 including Bounty, Dealership, and Lifeline will be available. For those interested in the narrative, a directed mode will guide players through the map’s storyline.

The trial includes an extensive list of content available for players to delve into, such as multiplayer playlists and game modes like Nuketown 24/7, Zombies maps like The Tomb and Liberty Falls, and more. For those who wish to continue playing after the free trial, the standard edition of Black Ops 6 is currently discounted by 30% on various platforms and is also part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

In addition to the Call of Duty news, other gaming announcements include details on Monster Hunter Wilds’ PS5 Pro enhancements, pricing insights from Nintendo regarding the Nintendo Switch 2, and revelations about a space shooter game that was in development for the unreleased Nintendo PlayStation console, as disclosed by Shuhei Yoshida from Sony.
