The developers of The Witcher 4 recently discussed the potential return of the popular card game Gwent in an interview. CD Projekt Red hinted at the possibility of Gwent making a comeback in the upcoming game, set to be launched in 2026 at the earliest. The executive producer and game director expressed their love for Gwent and emphasized their attentiveness to the community’s feedback. While not a definitive confirmation, the positive responses from the developers suggest a high probability of Gwent being featured in The Witcher 4. The game’s details are still scarce due to its early development stage, but one notable change is the recasting of Ciri, with Ciara Berkeley taking over the role from Jo Wyatt.
