Acer has recently introduced the PD1520Us, an ultra-short throw projector that weighs only 740 grams, potentially one of the smallest in its category. Despite its compact size, the PD1520Us can project 100-inch images from very close distances. The projector is eco-friendly, mercury-free, and offers a 30,000-hour lifespan. It supports full HD 1080p resolution with 4K compatibility, and includes features like autofocus and auto 2D keystone correction for clear images. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.0, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, with support for iOS and screen mirroring.
One of the key features of the PD1520Us is its instant on/off functionality, thanks to its LED light source. It eliminates the need for warm-up or cooling periods, providing immediate use. Acer also offers a 5200mAh battery kit for up to two hours of portable operation. Priced at €699, the projector will be available in EMEA markets by March 2025, with optional add-ons like a battery kit and an interactive module.
CES 2025 showcased several UST projector announcements, including the JMGO O2S Ultra, competing for the title of the world’s smallest UST projector. Stay tuned for the latest updates in projector technology.
