Creature Commandos star Frank Grillo has hinted at what’s next for Rick Flag Sr in the DC Universe. Grillo confirmed that Flag Sr will make appearances in the upcoming Superman movie and Peacemaker season 2, with his character being on a mission linked to The Suicide Squad film from 2021. Flag Sr’s role in these projects was kept somewhat mysterious by Grillo, but it seems he will play an antagonistic and revenge-driven part, especially in Peacemaker season 2 following the death of his son in The Suicide Squad. The actor teased that Flag Sr’s journey in the second season of Peacemaker will bring him closure. Despite a scare in the Creature Commandos series, Flag Sr is set to make a recovery and continue his story in the DCU.
