In a recent development, the South Korean video game age rating board has rated the highly anticipated upcoming game Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Described as an adventure game focusing on delivering parcels in a post-apocalyptic setting to connect cities and save humanity, the game was deemed unsuitable for minors due to its elements of violence, vulgar language, and direct drug use. Although age ratings are usually given close to a game’s release, director Hideo Kojima has hinted at a new trailer, raising speculations of a potential reveal at an upcoming State of Play event. The rumored State of Play could offer a platform for showcasing the trailer, especially considering the game’s status as a PlayStation 5 exclusive. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, announced at the 2022 Game Awards, is expected to launch on PS5 later this year.
