Epson’s super-bright new ultra short throw 4K projectors promise easy elite home theater pictures up to 160 inches

Epson has introduced two new “4K Pro-UHD” short-throw laser projectors, the EH-QS100W and the EH-QS100B, available in the UK for £4,500. These projectors utilize Epson’s triple-LCD laser technology, boasting separate red, green, and blue panels to enhance color brightness. With a brightness of up to 4,500 lumens and the ability to project images up to 160 inches, these models deliver an immersive viewing experience. Featuring a 4K Pro-UHD processing system and a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, they offer deep blacks and detailed shadows. Supporting HDR10/10+ and dynamic tone mapping, they provide superior image quality. Noteworthy features include a 20,000-hour laser source lifetime, instant warm-up and cool-down times, and full IP control for seamless integration with home entertainment systems. While currently available in the UK, there is no information on when they will launch in the US or Australia.
