Apple has introduced a new feature that allows users to transfer purchases between two Apple ID accounts for the first time. This feature enables users to move apps, songs, movies, books, and other purchases from one account to another. To utilize this feature, both accounts need to be logged into the same iPhone or iPad, with specific criteria such as the primary account logged into iCloud and the secondary account logged into Media & Purchases settings.

To migrate purchases between two Apple accounts, users need to access the Settings app on their device, navigate to Media & Purchases under their name, sign in with the secondary account, tap on Migrate Purchases, review the on-screen instructions, and finalize the process which ends with a message confirming the successful migration of purchases. This feature aims at helping users consolidate their purchases under one Apple ID, rather than sharing them among multiple users.

The feature is not yet available in certain regions like the UK, European Union, or India, but for other regions, it can be accessed. This new addition enhances the seamless experience of using Apple devices, providing users with an efficient way to manage their purchases. If you have been looking to merge your purchases under one account, this feature may be just what you need.
