Principal photography has commenced for the DCU movie “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow,” as confirmed by DC Studios co-chief James Gunn who shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes image from the UK set. The highly-anticipated superhero film, starring Milly Alcock, is set to hit theaters in July 2026. The movie is based on the acclaimed comic series by Tom King and Bilquis Eveley, following Supergirl’s journey to assist a young alien seeking revenge. Alongside Alcock, Eve Ridley and Jason Momoa will also feature in the film, with Krypto the Superdog making an appearance. The script has been crafted by Ana Nogueira and will be directed by Craig Gillespie. Fans are eagerly awaiting more details as the film progresses towards its release.
