Gemini can now use Python code to create charts about your Google Sheets data

Google’s Gemini, a powerful AI tool, has received an update that allows users to harness Python to create data visualizations and analyze information within Google Sheets. With the Gemini add-on, users can now generate charts, identify trends, and gain insights using artificial intelligence. This upgrade enables Gemini to provide contextual trends, patterns, and correlations in data without the need for coding. However, the charts are not linked to live data sets and require manual updates. To ensure accurate results, it is recommended to maintain a consistent data format without missing values. The enhanced Gemini functionality is most efficient with spreadsheets containing fewer than one million cells. The updated AI tool is initially available to Google Workspace Business and Enterprise customers, Google One AI Premium subscribers, and Gemini Education users.
