Government employees are still using Kaspersky despite the ban

Despite being banned in the US due to national security concerns three months ago, Kaspersky software is still in use by 19 government agencies, with a 58% decline in usage. Interestingly, the US remains the firm’s largest customer. In contrast, countries like the UK, Italy, and Germany have issued warnings but no bans. Germany has experienced a 69% decline in usage. Users in many regions have switched to alternative software like UltraAV. While some users are unconcerned about security issues, the outlook suggests a diminishing presence of Kaspersky products in the future.
