Arrowhead Game Studios has responded to criticism regarding the pricing of its new Killzone 2 crossover items in Helldivers 2. Following discussions with Killzone 2 developer Guerrilla Games, Arrowhead has decided to gift all players the second wave of items for free today. The initial crossover brought a Killzone-themed armor set, cape, assault rifle, player title, and banner, but players expressed discontent with the pricing. The new armor costs 500 Super Credits, the cape and helmet 310, and the assault rifle 615. Arrowhead acknowledged the feedback and announced plans to make the Killzone items permanently available in the game. Additionally, the duration of items in the Superstore has been extended from five to 10 days to give players more opportunity to acquire them. The developer is also working on introducing the new W.A.S.P stratagem for all players to unlock. This move aims to address concerns and improve the player experience with the crossover content.
