Sony has given PS5 owners in the UK a reason to celebrate by dropping the price of the DualSense Edge controller to £199.99 from £209.99. This news was quietly revealed alongside the announcement of the new Midnight Black collection. The price reduction applies to both the white and Midnight Black versions of the controller, bringing it in line with the US pricing. The revised pricing is already in effect on PlayStation Direct and Argos, while some retailers like Currys and Game still offer it at the original price. Pre-orders for the Midnight Black variant will begin on January 16, with a launch date set for February 20. This decrease may seem minor, but for many, it marks a notable shift below the £200 mark. Additionally, there’s information on Meta discontinuing the Quest Pro, Sony’s data on player preferences for turning off or using rest mode for the PS5, and the upcoming Marvel Rivals Season 1 introducing the Fantastic Four as playable heroes.
