Halliday introduces smart glasses featuring a small screen and advanced AI technology, aiming to provide proactive assistance to users. The glasses, weighing 35 grams, have a discreet design resembling traditional eyewear, with a unique Digi Window microdisplay embedded in them. The Digi Window, placed along the frame, functions as a tiny screen near the wearer’s eye, offering various features such as voice control, notifications, teleprompter mode, and more. The glasses also integrate with an AI app on smartphones to provide additional information and functionality. Despite the innovative approach, the effectiveness of the small screen compared to full field-of-view AR technology remains to be seen. Priced at $489.99 in the US, the Halliday smart glasses are set to launch in the first quarter of the year.
