MSI’s highly anticipated Claw 8 AI+ handheld gaming PC has finally been released, but it seems that availability is severely limited. Initially set to launch on January 15 in the US and February 11 in the UK, customers are having a hard time getting their hands on this powerful device. Currently, the Claw 8 AI+ is exclusively available at Currys in the UK, with a price tag of £899.

Featuring Intel’s Lunar Lake Ultra 7 258V processor and the Intel Arc 140V integrated GPU for enhanced gaming performance, the Claw 8 AI+ is expected to outperform its competitors. However, the issue of limited availability raises concerns about its success in the market. With the pricing set at $899 / £899, the steep cost coupled with scarce availability may hinder its popularity among gamers.

In a market where affordability is key, the Claw 8 AI+ faces stiff competition from other handheld gaming PCs. The device’s premium specifications and performance may be overshadowed by its high price point. As the gaming community eagerly awaits the release of the Legion Go S from Lenovo, priced at $799, it remains to be seen if the Claw 8 AI+ can overcome its availability challenges and appeal to potential buyers.

Stay tuned for more updates and comparisons in the evolving world of handheld gaming PCs.
