Meta has officially ceased the sale of its Quest Pro headset, with the company suggesting users opt for the Quest 3 instead. This decision follows Meta’s confirmation in September 2024 to discontinue the Quest Pro, Quest 2, and 128GB Quest 3 models after the introduction of the more affordable Quest 3S headset. The Quest 2 is currently unavailable, having been completely sold out in July 2024. Meta stated that remaining headsets will be sold until the end of the year or until stocks last. The Meta Quest Pro, released in 2022 as the company’s most expensive model, can now be replaced by the 512GB version of the Meta Quest 3 for $650 or the Quest 3S for $299.99, each including a copy of Batman: Arkham Shadow.

In a related update, Sony has announced the upcoming launch of new Midnight Black versions of the PS Portal, DualSense Edge, and other PS5 accessories next month. Additionally, Sony revealed that players are equally split between turning off their PS5 or putting it in Rest Mode after use. Marvel Rivals Season 1 is set to debut this week, featuring the Fantastic Four as playable heroes.
