Microsoft has launched a new feature called Vision for Copilot Plus subscribers, enhancing the AI’s capabilities within the Edge browser. This feature allows the AI to analyze the screen and provide contextual advice for various activities such as shopping and trip planning.

The long-awaited Vision feature for Copilot AI has finally been released for Copilot Pro subscribers. Mustafa Suleyman, Microsoft AI CEO, announced the rollout on X platform. With Copilot Vision, the AI can view your screen through the Edge browser, offering real-time assistance by analyzing websites you visit and providing relevant suggestions. It’s like having a virtual assistant providing immediate support tailored to your needs.

Vision assists in various tasks like planning outings and aiding in shopping by highlighting relevant information on the webpage. Although the feature is currently limited to specific websites, Microsoft is working to expand its functionality with the help of third-party publishers. While similar features exist in browsers like Google Chrome and Opera, Microsoft’s approach feels more personalized and intuitive, providing a unique browsing experience with AI assistance.
