Microsoft is making a significant change to Windows 11 by removing the “Suggested actions” feature due to performance issues and user dissatisfaction. The feature, aimed at providing helpful prompts based on copied information, has been disabled in a recent Preview Build release, with a complete removal expected in an upcoming Windows 11 update by February 2025. Users reported inconsistencies and irrelevant hints, leading to the decision to focus on enhancing reliable, AI-powered features over improving “Suggested actions.” Although the feature was introduced in 2022 and widely available in 2023, its functionality fell short of expectations.
