Microsoft Teams is set to introduce a new update that will streamline the process of adding emojis to chats, aiming to enhance the personalization and communication options for users. With the planned rollout starting in April 2024, users can look forward to inserting emojis directly from their keyboards without distractions. This feature, currently in development, will include custom emoji creations by users and allow up to 5,000 custom emojis. Microsoft Teams continues to expand customization options, including the ability to choose preferred skin tones for reactions and the introduction of virtual avatars and visual effects for calls.
