Microsoft is set to overhaul its Edge browser with a project codenamed ‘Phoenix,’ focusing on modernizing the browser in incremental updates. A potential upcoming feature involves Edge changing its color scheme to match Windows 11 settings. However, these changes are still in early testing stages, and their implementation is uncertain. Other enhancements under Project Phoenix include a split-screen feature for browsing two websites simultaneously and a revamp of Edge tooltips. Not all tested features may make it to release, emphasizing the need for cautious optimism. Microsoft aims to elevate Edge with Project Phoenix, but further substantial improvements are eagerly awaited in the upcoming year.
