OM System has unveiled the new OM-3 mirrorless camera, drawing inspiration from the original Olympus OM-1 film SLR of the 1970s. Priced at £1,699 body-only, it features a creative color mode dial reminiscent of the Pen-F. Positioned between the OM-1 II and OM-5, the OM-3 boasts familiar OM System features such as a 20MP sensor, TruePic X processor, in-body image stabilization, and quad-pixel autofocus. The camera offers custom color profiles and innovative features, including slow-motion recording, Cinema modes, and computational photography options. Additionally, OM System released mark II versions of three lenses, including the M.Zuiko Digital 17mm F1.8 II and 25mm F1.8 II. The OM-3 promises to be a compelling choice for enthusiasts and photographers seeking a blend of retro aesthetics and modern functionality.
