YouTube TV and Paramount are facing a distribution disagreement, with Paramount content scheduled to leave YouTube TV starting February 13, 2025. The departure of Paramount and CBS content will impact channel availability for YouTube TV subscribers. Apart from new content streaming, existing recordings from Paramount channels stored on DVR will also be removed. As negotiations continue, Entertainment Plus subscribers will receive a $10 discount on each bill, while those with Paramount+ add-ons through YouTube TV will not be charged until the issue is resolved, with automatic refunds being processed. In case a resolution is not reached and Paramount content remains unavailable for an extended period, YouTube plans to offer subscribers an $8 credit. The impacted channels list includes various national and local channels. While the timeline for a new agreement remains uncertain, YouTube assures that discussions with Paramount are ongoing in hopes of reaching a timely resolution.
