Apple TV Plus has officially confirmed the second season of “Presumed Innocent” on July 12. Jake Gyllenhaal will return as an executive producer, but his role as Rusty Sabich has not been confirmed yet. Peter Sarsgaard may not be returning for the second season. Season two will revolve around a new case and could draw inspiration from Scott Turow’s novels. The release date for season two is expected at the earliest by the end of 2025. No trailer has been released yet. The cast is not confirmed, but Gyllenhaal is set to produce. The plot for the new season is shrouded in mystery. The season will focus on a new suspenseful case.
