Sony has made an exciting announcement that certain PlayStation games for PC will no longer require a PSN account to play. This change will start with the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on January 30, 2025. Players can now choose whether or not to link a PSN account for these games, with the added benefit of rewards like exclusive in-game items. Titles affected by this new policy include popular games like God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. Players who opt to link their accounts will receive bonuses such as special outfits and gameplay enhancements. Sony also plans to collaborate with PlayStation Studios to offer more perks for players with linked accounts. This change opens up new possibilities for PC gamers and hints at more exciting developments to come in the future.
