Samsung Display has announced that their latest QD-OLED panel, potentially featured in the 2025 Samsung S95F flagship TV, can reach a peak brightness of 4,000 nits, making it the brightest OLED panel in the market. Meanwhile, LG also introduced new panels reaching 3,700 nits. However, actual testing raises doubts about achieving these peak brightness levels as last year’s Samsung S95D measured significantly less than claimed. Despite this, the S95D still stood out as one of the best OLED TVs released. The race for brighter QD-OLEDs continues with advancements in technology, but consistent 4,000 nits may still be a challenge. Stay tuned for more CES updates on cutting-edge TV technology.
