In a recent State of Play presentation, Reikon Games has unveiled Metal Eden, a captivating sci-fi FPS game merging elements of Doom and Ghostrunner. Set in a futuristic world where robots are driven by human souls, players control Aska, an advanced android, on a mission to rescue a human colony. Accompanied by the sentient spaceship Nexus, players engage in intense combat using a mix of weapons and the ability to enhance attacks using enemy energy cores. The game offers thrilling parkour challenges across eight levels, showcasing impressive visuals and gameplay mechanics. Metal Eden is scheduled for release on May 6, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S platforms.
