Shazam’s latest feature, Fast Forward 2025, uses a combination of “Shazam data” and editorial choices to predict the songs you’ll be streaming in the future. They are unveiling 50 new songs by emerging artists, introducing 10 new artists daily across various genres like dance, Latin, country/rock, pop, and hip-hop/R&B. The initiative aims to give emerging artists a global platform by highlighting those predicted to make a breakthrough in the music scene. Despite some skepticism about industry influences, Shazam’s track record of 80% of its 2023 picks reaching Apple Music’s Top 100 proves their success.
