A surprise announcement from Publisher 2K reveals the upcoming release of Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 – VR, a new virtual reality adaptation of the beloved strategy game franchise. Developed by PlaySide Studios, this VR version will be exclusive to Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S devices. Players will have the opportunity to experience the full content of the game in a VR-friendly format, where they can command their empire from a unique perspective at the Command Table. The game will support both VR and mixed reality (MR), utilizing the Meta Quest 3’s camera system to blend gameplay with real-life surroundings.
