Street Fighter 6 gets new gameplay trailer for next DLC character Mai Shiranui

Capcom has unveiled the gameplay trailer for Mai Shiranui, the latest downloadable content character for Street Fighter 6. Hailing from SNK’s Fatal Fury series, Mai is set to join the game’s roster on February 5, 2025, marking her as the second guest character to enter the world of Street Fighter. The trailer offers a detailed look at Mai’s unique moveset and abilities, highlighting her mastery of ninja techniques and aerial attacks. Players can expect to see her employing her fan as a primary weapon, unleashing fiery projectiles and devastating combos with her signature moves like Kachousen and Ryuuenbu. Additionally, Mai showcases her Super Art abilities, including a fiery AoE attack and a swift rush ability to dodge enemy projectiles. Fans can also anticipate a new outfit for Mai inspired by her appearance in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, available for purchase using in-game currency or through World Tour progression. Owners of the Year 2 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass will receive Mai automatically upon release, or she can be acquired separately using Fighter Coins.
