Capcom, the developer of Monster Hunter Wilds, is considering extending the open beta test of the game due to PlayStation Network outages that affected players over the weekend. Many PS5 users were unable to access the online features of the game, leading to possible delays in testing. The current beta is divided into two phases, with the second one set to begin on February 13. Capcom issued a statement on Twitter acknowledging the issues and expressing plans to potentially add an extra 24 hours to the second beta session to make up for lost playtime. The game is still set for release on February 28 for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
