Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Z Flip 7 with highly efficient screens, potentially leading to improved battery life compared to their predecessors. Leakers suggest that the Z Fold 7 will not feature a larger battery, but its battery life could be extended by around 55 minutes with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The enhancements in battery life appear to be due to more efficient components and software rather than larger battery capacities. The Z Fold 7 is expected to maintain a 4,400mAh battery like its predecessor, while other upgrades include improvements to its screen, hinge, main camera, under-display camera, internal structure, and dust and water resistance. The Z Flip 7 is said to come with improved hinge durability, a less visible crease, thinner body, 25W charging, a 50MP main camera, and other enhancements. Both devices are anticipated to launch in July 2025, offering potential improvements in battery life and performance.
