Ring and Kidde have teamed up to introduce innovative Ring-enabled smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. This partnership debuted at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, showcasing smart home-ready alarms. Unlike traditional models, these new alarms connect via Wi-Fi and are operated through the Ring app. They offer advanced features like battery alerts and seamless integration with existing Kidde alarms. Additionally, Ring is launching a $5-a-month protection service for emergency response. However, it’s noted that these new alarms do not currently integrate with Amazon’s Alexa app. Despite this setback, the collaboration between Ring and Kidde aims to provide enhanced home protection with easy accessibility.
