Introducing the Planck SSD by ShiftCam, a compact yet powerful mini external storage solution designed for business smartphones and laptops. Connecting via USB-C, this innovative device offers up to 2TB of storage capacity and boasts NVMe technology for lightning-fast read and write speeds of up to 1,050 MB/s. With a transfer speed of up to 10Gbps, the Planck SSD enables direct-to-SSD recording, ensuring smooth 4K ProRes footage at 60 or 120 frames per second without dropped frames.
Named after the scientific term for minute quantities in physics, the Planck SSD is not only small but also rugged, with IP65 dust/water resistance and the ability to withstand drops of up to three meters, making it perfect for outdoor shooting. Its USB-C hub allows for dual SSD usage and supports an HDMI port for connecting an external monitor, facilitating direct media playback.
Priced at $129 for 1TB and $199 for 2TB, the Planck SSD is set to launch in Spring 2025, offering creators a portable and powerful tool to enhance their workflow.
