Vay, a unique car service in Las Vegas, is expanding its fleet of electric vehicles to over 100 cars, offering a different experience compared to traditional ride-sharing services. The company remotely brings the car to the customer, who then takes control and returns it when done. Since its launch in 2024, over 6,000 rides have been completed.

At CES 2025, amidst the focus on fully autonomous vehicles, attention is also drawn to remotely driven cars like those operated by Vay in Las Vegas. The company’s user-friendly app allows customers to call for a car to be driven to them, offering a disruptive alternative to conventional ride-sharing services. The upcoming expansion to 100 electric vehicles, primarily featuring the Kia e-Niro model, aims to enhance service availability and reduce wait times.

To support the fleet expansion, Vay is establishing a new production facility in Las Vegas and plans to introduce up to 16 cars per week. The service includes a camera-based driving experience, operated by Vay staff remotely. The maintenance facility in Las Vegas ensures smooth operations of these electric vehicles.

Although resembling a rental car service more than a typical ride-sharing platform, Vay is gaining popularity due to its affordability and personalized experience, offering more control to customers. It provides a cost-effective alternative to Uber or Lyft, and despite requiring more effort from users, it ensures a unique driving experience with total control.
