A recent leak has shed light on this potential improvement, indicating that Wear OS smartwatches may soon streamline the commuting experience for their users. The leak exposed code within the 25.02.32 beta of Google Play services, hinting at upcoming changes that would enable users to tap and ride without the need to navigate through the Wallet app. This move by Google appears to mirror Apple’s Express Transit feature, which was introduced in 2019 and simplifies the payment process for travel without requiring authentication via Face ID or Touch ID.
