Eli Health has introduced a new device called the Hormometer, claiming to provide real-time health insights by measuring cortisol and progesterone levels in saliva. The device looks like a thermometer, detecting hormone levels using test lines. Users simply place the device in their mouth for 30 seconds and then wait for 20 minutes for the results. By taking a picture of the Hormometer stick with the Eli app, users receive health insights and tips to improve their well-being through their iPhone. Eli Health emphasizes the accuracy of the Hormometer, stating a 94% correlation for progesterone and 97% for cortisol with FDA standard tests. The device is FDA-registered and will be available for sale in the US and Canada in January, offered through a subscription model. Interested individuals can join a waitlist on Eli Health’s website. The company plans to unveil the Hormometer at CES 2025.
